I am a self-taught
artist and fairly late starter to painting in 2006.
Vibrant colours are my inspiration. Most of my work consists of painting
flowers. I am constantly obsessing over colours. I see paintings
everywhere in nature. I love flowers because they are nature's most
vivid creations.
As an artist I feel an irresistible attraction towards realism. My need
to depict the chosen subject with great precision seduces me into a
constant battle to mastering new skills of realism. I create my work in
my studio at home and appreciate the support of my husband Chris who
believed in me and prevented me from quitting and also being close to my
sons Alex and Dimitri.
