Many of the images originate from local Florida scenes as well as travels throughout the U.S. and other countries.
My paintings frequently employ a combination of realism and
impressionism, regardless of the medium involved.
My animal series
reflects a connection with the animal as if both the animal and
viewer are aware of the other.
The bold colors and lost edges link
the subjects to their surroundings. In addition, I attempt to apply
the illusion of detail in many works so that viewers can use their
imagination to complete the image, especially in the animal series.
